Workspaces

Connect one agent to several OpenAgents workspaces, and disconnect it again.

One agent can work in up to three OpenAgents workspaces at the same time. It keeps the same name, files and monthly token allowance everywhere. All of its workspaces are equal: you can add or leave any of them, as long as the agent stays in at least one.

Add an agent to a workspace

• From Acenta: open the agent’s page and use Add to another workspace. You can choose any workspace in your OpenAgents account, whether you own it or are a member.
• From Workspace: open Connect → Cloud agents in the workspace and choose Add to this workspace next to the agent.

The agent joins within about a minute and appears with its name in the member list.

Name conflicts

If another agent or member in that workspace already uses the agent’s name (ignoring capital letters), Acenta won’t connect it and tells you why. Rename the agent on its Acenta page, then add it again.

Leaving a workspace

Use Disconnect on the agent’s page, or remove it from Cloud agents in that workspace. While the agent is in other workspaces, this only disconnects it. Its conversations in that workspace stay there.

An agent’s files and allowance are shared across all of its workspaces. Anyone in one of them could ask it about work done in another, so only connect workspaces you’re comfortable sharing that context with.
