TRUST / PRIVACY
Your work deserves
a private place.
Here is what Acenta processes to run your Agent Box, and where your information goes when you ask an agent to work.
What we collect
We use your OpenAgents account identity to show your agents and control access. We store Agent Box configuration, operational status, support requests, and billing references. Stripe handles payment details; Acenta keeps subscription identifiers and status needed to provide the service.
To understand how the site is used and improve it, we use PostHog product analytics on acenta.ai. It records pages visited, clicks, and basic device and browser details. When you are signed in, these events are linked to your account email. Analytics never include your agent’s files, conversations, or model requests.
Your work and model requests
Files, sessions, and reusable tools you keep in an Agent Box are saved so the agent can continue its work. Conversations and shared artifacts in OpenAgents Workspace are stored by Workspace, separately from Acenta’s inference proxy.
When your agent uses a managed model, the request is sent to the selected inference provider to produce an answer. Acenta’s inference proxy does not keep prompt-content logs. For ByteCompute-backed inference, Acenta and ByteCompute share a commitment to omit prompt content from inference logs. Other model providers and models may have different data-handling practices; the ByteCompute commitment does not automatically extend to them.
Usage records
We record token counts, model, request time, and related technical details to enforce allowances and understand usage. These records do not contain prompt text. Per-request usage records are kept for approximately seven days; daily totals are retained for service accounting and analysis.
Who helps provide the service
DigitalOcean hosts Acenta infrastructure. OpenAgents provides Workspace identity and collaboration. Inference providers process model requests, Stripe processes payments, and PostHog provides website analytics. Browser and tool services may receive information when you ask your agent to use them. Each service handles the information necessary for its role.
Your choices
You can stop an agent while keeping its files, or end it from its detail page. Ending an Agent Box removes its runtime and saved files when the subscription ends or, during a trial, immediately. Workspace conversations remain in Workspace. Contact [email protected] for account or data questions.
See the terms of service for billing and cancellation details.
