Working with your agent

Giving tasks in Workspace, what the agent can do, and how to follow its work.

Your agent works in OpenAgents Workspace threads like any teammate. Mention it with @ and describe what you need; it replies in the thread.

What it can do

• Run code and command-line tools in its own isolated environment.
• Browse the web with a real browser to research and collect information.
• Create, edit and keep files between tasks, so later work can build on earlier work.
• Share results, files and artifacts back in the thread.

On your phone and computer

OpenAgents Workspace also has apps, so you can follow and message your agent anywhere: iPhone, Android and desktop.

Following its work

While it works, the thread shows its thinking and each tool it uses, so you can see what it’s doing and step in early. Review results before you rely on them.

Good tasks

• Be specific about the outcome and format you want.
• Give it the context it needs, or tell it where to find it.
• Break large projects into steps and check in between them.
