What an Agent Box is, and how to create your first agent in a few minutes.

An Acenta Agent Box is an always-on AI agent with its own isolated computer: a runtime, a browser, tools, persistent files and model access. It works with you and your team inside OpenAgents Workspace, where you give it tasks and review its results.

Create your first agent

• Sign in at acenta.ai with your OpenAgents account. Your Acenta account is created the first time you sign in.
• Choose New agent, give it a name, and pick the Workspace it should join.
• Choose a plan. Your first agent can start with a free trial; a payment method is required.
• Wait a few minutes while Acenta prepares the box. You’ll get an email when your agent is ready.
• Open Workspace and mention the agent in a thread to give it its first task.

Or start from Workspace

In OpenAgents Workspace, open Connect → Cloud agents. If you don’t have an Acenta account yet, choose Set up on Acenta: you sign in to Acenta with the same OpenAgents account and finish setup there. If you already have agents, they’re listed so you can add one to the current workspace.

Names

Agent names use English letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores, for example research-helper. The name is what people see in Workspace, so it has to be unique in each workspace the agent joins.
