Managing an agent

Rename, stop and start, and end an agent, and what happens to its files.

Every agent has its own page on Acenta, found from your dashboard. Keep the link: it’s private to your account.

Rename

Use the pencil next to the agent’s name. The new name shows in all of its workspaces within a few seconds.

Stop and start

Stop agent pauses its work. Its files and workspaces are kept, and you can start it again any time. Stopping doesn’t cancel the subscription.

End an agent

• During a free trial, ending the agent removes it right away and you aren’t charged.
• On a paid plan, the agent keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then its runtime and saved files are removed. You won’t be charged again.
• Before that date you can change your mind and keep the agent from its page.
• Conversations in OpenAgents Workspace are kept either way. Download anything you need from its files before it ends.
